We are back with another look at the October My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, October 2nd at 1pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. The new kit has so many possibilities, between the stamps and the dies, that it may seem overwhelming. As many places as this kit can take you, today I decided to go the one-layer route.
I stamped all the images in Black, except for the tracks, which were stamped in Soft Granite. Coloring was kept simple, as I only used three colors – light gray, dark gray and red.
I made several cards with the kit, but this was the first, as I had to take it slow and easy to keep myself from getting overwhelmed by all the possibilities.

This IS a cute, adorable kit. The train at the train station card reminds me of the train trip from Shinjuku-ku to Tokyo Train Station to see the Imperial Palace in Japan. Love the sentiment fonts. Love to have this kit in my arsenal.

Love the simplicity of this card and that it would be easy to mail without breaking the bank……a consideration for us seniors! The little train is so stinkin’ cute! My Dad worked for the railroad so the little train is especially sweet for me. Love Hero Arts Monthly Kits….they are terrific:)
