May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #5 + Giveaway

May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #5 + Giveaway

It's time for our next countdown peek! The May My Monthly Hero kit will be available on Monday, May 6 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Now let’s join Emily, who is sharing another look at this wonderful kit!

Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today to share a sneak peek of this month's My Monthly Hero kit. This month's kit is an absolute winner; it's perfect for almost any kind of crafter! One of my (and many people's) favorite parts about this hobby is the organizational aspect and getting everything nice and neat, usually in rainbow order! I thought I'd create a little craft room "wall" with some cute watercolor bottles and cards on shelves. Let's get started with all of the details!

I began by stamping multiples of the watercolor bottles, cards, and paintbrushes using Intense Black ink, then coloring them with Copic markers in rainbow order. I then used the coordinating dies to die cut each of the stamped and colored images.

Next, I trimmed some very thin strips of Pitch Black cardstock, as well as a rectangular "cup" to hold my paintbrushes. I stamped a coordinating greeting from the new My Monthly Hero kit on a strip of white card stock, also using Intense Black ink.

Once I had assembled all of the die cut pieces and "shelves," it was time to assemble! I popped everything up using foam tape to give lots of dimension to the white card front. Don't those little watercolor bottles look so cute in rainbow order?!

Well, that's all for my project today. I hope you're enjoying the sneak peeks... this is a kit that you won't want to miss out on!! Now for some fun giveaway information!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, May 6, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Beautiful! This is what my craft room should look like. Thank you for the inspiration, Emily!
Congratulations to HeroArts for 45 years in the business and thanks a million for many great stamps, papers, inks, dies… My very first stamp was a HeroArts and so was the ink I used. I bought it in the early 90s and I still cherish and use it. I will need to put a pic on my instagram. Looking forward to the next 45 years using your products and to this kit of course. Cheers.

Yes! So cute, And yes to what you said about loving the organizational aspect. If I am not feeling inspired, I can organize for a while and that will usually spark something.
