July My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #6 + Giveaway

Hello and welcome back! This is the last peek at the July My Monthly Hero Kit before tomorrow's release at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We estimate July kits and add-ons will begin shipping on Friday, July 17. Channin is here to share the final glimpse before the full reveal on Monday!

Hello friends! It's Channin here with a new card idea featuring the July 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit. This kit is absolutely magical!! I loved building my underwater scene with the beautiful layering stamp set and the intricate scenery die!

To create this card I first stamped the forefront scene with the stamp set and a MISTI. I started with the most solid stamp, partially inked it and stamped it in several ink colors. I began with Thistle Reactive ink, held the ink pad at an angle and inked up just the top portion of the stamp and then stamped it. Next, I inked up the bottom portion with Grape Slush, stamped, and then the very bottom with Blue Hawaii.

I then positioned the second layer, picked it up with my MISTI and selectively and partially inked the slopes with Splash, Blue Hawaii, and even a little Intens-ified Black Ink at the bottom. Next, I inked up just the coral and plants in either Pool Party or Taffy. I then positioned the third layer and inked it up with combination of either Creamsicle + Fruit Punch or Fruit Punch + Berry Smoothie.

Next, I die cut the landscape out with the matching dies and then die cut a second panel with the second landscape die. I ink blended the second scene with Grape Slush, Blue Hawaii, and Intens-ified Black Ink. Next, I stamped the mermaid and dolphins in Intens-ified Black Ink and die cut them out with the matching dies. I then ink blended the front of an A2 top-folding card base with Blue Hawaii, Splash, and Pool Party. Next, I adhered all my layers and die cuts to the card front and then finished the card by stamping the sentiment in Intens-ified Black Ink.
