Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing a fun way to use the Sentiments Strips Fancy Die along with the Everyday Sentiment Strips stamp set to create a birthday card. You can easily customize it to be masculine or feminine and you can also use the idea for more than just birthdays, for example anniversaries, holidays, etc.
To make the card start by stamping the Everyday Sentiment Strips on Ultra Pink and Plum cardstock using Unicorn Pigment ink, then emboss in white. Next, stamp them sentiments on Arctic and Peony cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink and emboss using Clear Ultra Fine Embossing Powder.
Die cut the sentiments using the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die. Pick out seven of the strips you would like to use and set them aside. You can save the other messages for future cards!
Cut a 2" wide strip of Dove White cardstock. Start by adhering the sentiments using foam tape. Adhere the first one to the bottom making sure the sentiment is centered on the 2" strip. Trim off the excess. Next adhere the second one at a slight angle and so on, until you are at the last strip which you will adhere straight, then cut off the excess of the Dove White cardstock strip. Your "present" is almost done.
Next, we need to put a bow on the present. For the bow, I used the bow from the Holly Berries Stamp & Cut XL. Die cut the bow once from Black Glitter Paper and twice from Pitch Black cardstock. Stack them up to create more dimension and give the bow little bit more sturdiness.
We are now ready to assemble the card. Cut piece of Sand cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Using foam tape, adhere the present. Next, adhere the bow. Add the finished panel using foam tape to a Top Folded Dove White notecard. Your card is done!
