Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share using the new All My Love Decorative Hearts stamp set that was released as an add-on to the January My Monthly Hero Kit. It is such a beautiful set. Perfect for Valentine's but also perfect for lots of other occasions too. Today I decided to make an anniversary card.
I started my card by taking a sheet of watercolour paper and stamping one of the hearts on to it using Versamark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I then applied various colours of Liquid Watercolors on top with a paintbrush and water. I used Deep Ocean, Indigo, Teal and Purple. This was then set aside to dry before fussy cutting out with scissors.
I took an A2 white card base and added a layer of Decorative Woodgrain Cardstock on to the front. I then added the heart on top with thin foam tape. I took the sentiment from the Everyday Sayings set and stamped this onto black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied the same white embossing powder and heat set. This was cut into a strip and added to the card with more thin foam tape.
I really like how this card came out, something a little different but you could change up the sentiment and it would be perfect for Valentine's too. Thank you so much for stopping by today, happy stamping!
