Happy New Year! We hope you've enjoyed the holidays, and are settling into 2018. We are thrilled to be joining a big hop today, full of generous stampers and craft companies. Libby created the card we're sharing today. It features an oldie but goodie, our My Monthly Hero kit from December 2016! Libby stamped the champagne bottles repeatedly, colored with her Copics and then added gold gel pen (included in the kit) as well as some gold Stickles to the labels. The "cheers" was cut with a die included in the kit, and the shiny gold metallic paper came from the kit as well. She finished the card with some polka dotted washi tape from her stash.
Because this kit is so incredibly perfect for the new year, we decided to offer up THREE of them as our prizes for this hop! Happy 2018! My goal this year is to make invites for a bridal shower or baby shower. I think it would be a fun challenge!
So many goals so little time. The one goal i always make is 20 cards a month for our troops. Plus for Veteran’s Day I go out and find 10 Vets to thank with a handmade card and Christmas ornament. There is a new baby coming into our family so I will be making a scrapbook for their arrival. Planning on making some shirts, hats, blankets….
