February My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #3 + Giveaway

MMH Countdown to Creativity

We are back with another day of inspiration using our February My Monthly Hero kit! The kit will be available on Monday, February 6th at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be sharing ideas for using the main kit and the optional add-on products all weekend long, so stay tuned for more sneak peeks! And, remember to comment on each and every post as we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches! In this post, Amy shares a colorful card that she created with some of the stamps and dies included in the February monthly kit.

Weather this Storm

I’m absolutely loving the February My Monthly Hero Kit. It has so many possibilities! Today I’m sharing a rainbow themed card using the main stamp set. I stamped the umbrella and die cut a handful of them, coloring them in rainbow colors. I set them aside while I worked on my main panel.

I used the rain shower stamp repeatedly on the panel with Versamark and following up with White Embossing Powder. I was worried about how it would look overlapping and I love it. I did an ombre’ watercolor wash. I stamped the sentiment with Intense Black. I added the diecut umbrellas, using foam adhesives and overlapping the images. The watercolor panel was then mounted on a Foliage Mixed Layering Panel.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, February 6th, before the kit launches at 1pm EST. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by this morning. Be sure to stop by later today for another look at this amazing kit!
