December My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #1 + Giveaway

Hello and welcome as we begin the countdown to the release of the December My Monthly Hero Kit! Release day is Monday, December 2 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We will be here all weekend long, sharing inspiration before the launch on Monday. Now let's join Nichol for the first look at the kit!

Hello friends! Nichol here with a card share featuring no line coloring with images from the December My Monthly Hero kit. This gorgeous kit is perfect for creating all kinds of earth-themed designs. I paired images and dies from the main kit with a simple inked and distressed background.

The background was created by inking Pool Party Reactive Ink on smooth white cardstock with a blending brush. White Iridescent Spray and White Liquid Watercolor were splattered over the background for a bit of a mystical feeling.

The images from the main kit were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with no line coloring ink and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Once colored, the images were die cut with the coordinating dies. The earth was stamped with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The images were adhered to the background with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I can't wait to see all the cards you create with this incredible kit!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, December 2, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Kathy A,

So stunning and soft. The pastel colors add to the softness of the girl.

Cindy White Bear,

Beautiful image.

Seema Raja,

Love the coloring! Piqued my curiosity for what is in the December kit.
