Canyon Adventure

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a best wishes, and perhaps bon voyage, card featuring the Looking Glass Canyon Lands Dies from the Summer Catalog.

I started off by using the Alignment Tool Stencil to position and temporarily tape each of the three dies in the set, with the same relative placement, over three 4.25" x 5.5" panels of white cardstock. I ran the dies and panels through a die cut machine and then colored each layer using Copic markers. I used YG17 for the grass layer. For the tree layer, I used E34, E57, and E47 for the trunk and branches, and I used G42 and YG17 for the leaves. For the red rock towers, I used E07, E08, E09, and YR27.

Next, I created the cover panel by using a die from the Square Infinity Dies set to cut a window in a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Sand cardstock. I used the Alignment Tool Stencil again to make sure that I positioned the die in the same relative spot as the rest of the panels. Then, I stamped the Sun Ray Bold Prints background stamp over the panel in Clear Embossing & Watermark ink to create a tone-on-tone pattern. I finished the panel by stamping a sentiment from the Message Strips Stamp & Cut XL set in black ink.

To assemble the card, I stacked the four panels together and glued them together before adhering the combined piece to an Arctic cardstock card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!
