Today, I'm sharing a creative way to use the party fans stamp set and coordinating dies to create geometric flowers!

I began by stamping the two layers of the party fans images in yellow, pink and blue-green. Each image is stamped in a lighter and a darker colour to give a 3D look to the image. I found it easier to stamp the images with acrylic blocks rather than a stamping tool. For someone like me who is not the best at layering stamps, these were really easy to line up!
I cut out the stamped party fans images with the coordinating die and then cut the images into segments by hand. (I also stamped and cut a larger party fan in green, but it managed to hide out of the photo!)
I took three of the segments I cut (either two pink and one yellow or two yellow and one pink) and used sticky tape on the back to stick them together to form the flowers. I then adhered green segments with liquid glue to form the stems of the flowers. I arranged them on my card front (let's be real, I arranged them about 10 different ways before I was happy!) and then adhered them down.
I chose a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Balloons stamp set and white embossed it onto a banner of Pitch Black cardstock. I layered the sentiment onto a square of vellum and placed it over the flowers background, and added some black enamel dots to finish it off!
