Hi everyone! Ilina here sharing another idea using this month's My Monthly Hero Kit. I had so much fun playing with this kit and creating different scenes.
For today's card I used the castle die from the kit and die cut it from a piece of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4", then colored with alcohol based markers. I slid a piece of paper between the castle and the sky in such a way that the castle was covered and ink blended Tide Pool ink to create the sky.
Next, I stamped the queen image using Intense Black ink, colored and die cut. Set it aside. I cut another piece of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and cut a circle using the Circle Infinity Dies. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and assembled the pieces.

I adore the font of this sentiment! I dabbled a little bit in calligraphy many years ago, and this is similar to Gothic and Carolingian hands that I tried lettering. Lovely!

This is just stunning I love the castle and would have Queens on her own card with the castle in the background this is a wonderful kit!
I can’t decide which I like better, the sentiment or the castle. Thankfully they’re together, and I don’t have to make that decision. :-)
