Hello there, Michelle here. Another wonderful kit this month! There are lots of dies to make wonderful scenes in the kit, but today, I thought I would use just one of them for a clean and simple look.
I started off by die cutting one of the landscape/building dies from Dove White Cardstock. This die has an open end at the bottom so I could place the die towards the top of the panel. I then sat this aside to work on my background. I took a Top Folded Card Base and started blending inks on top to create a sunset.
Using a blending brush to get a smooth blend, I started with Butter Bar and Dandelion at the bottom and moved up to Soft Cantaloupe and Orange Soda. I finished off with Pale Tomato at the top. I took the sentiment from the kit stamp set and stamped this on top with black ink. I then added the scene panel on top with foam tape to finish the card.

Beautiful card—looks like Rome! I can still see it, even though it’s been 37 years since I was stationed in Italy. Love the soft colors—I’ll bet a night scene would also be gorgeous. I can hardly co rain myself waiting for reveal day!!!

Simple but gorgeous. Interesting how all the other card clearly look Italian but this could be almost anywhere. Has a bit of a middle eastern look to it. Nice design!
