A Simple Happy Holiday

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing an easy holiday card featuring the new String Dots Bold Prints background paired with some classic ornament shapes.

I started off by using Dusty Blue Shadow Ink to stamp the background onto a 3.75" x 5" panel of Dove White cardstock.

Next, I created three ornaments by using dies from the Holiday Ornaments Frame Cuts set to cut Peony cardstock. Using an Ink Blending Brush, I blended a bit of Cotton Candy Shadow Ink around the edges of the ornaments to create just a bit of depth. Then I tied little bows of gold thread.

I used adhesive dots to adhere the round ornament to the background. Then I used foam tape to adhere the other two ornaments. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Graphic Lines Holiday stamp set in Onyx Pigment Ink onto Dove White cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment into a strip and then used foam tape to adhere it to the card front. To finish, I used more foam tape to adhere the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Melissa Sunshine HoneyBee,

Like the ornamnets with inked edges, added twine & wonderful background. Rcvd my 2nd Holiday order yesterday and now I get to continue to prep for the Holiday Stamp Along.
