Video: Ornate Gate Paper Piecing Card Ideas

Hello Hero Arts creatives! This is Rachel Kleinman here to share four different cards, and a VIDEO, that all feature the intricate Ornate Gate Cover Plate .

If the video above isn't playing, click here to watch on YouTube .

The video process shares a variety of tips to create seamless paper piecing designs with your intricate dies. You'll see that by changing the color combinations and adding some holiday-themed elements, the Ornate Gate takes on a whole new life!
The Halloween cards shared in the video feature Hero Hues Premium Cardstock in Peony and Papaya . I added some little batties using the new  Bat Infinity Dies  set in my Compact Cutter with Pitch Black  cardstock.
This is the alternate Halloween card that uses all the leftover die cut pieces. The Ornate Gate and bats are cut from Adriatic  cardstock. The sentiments for the Halloween cards are from the new Halloween Messages stamp set.
Naturally, this Ornate Gate is perfect for holiday and winter cards! For these cards, I use Pitch Black, Mist , and Adriatic Cardstock. The Ornate Gate itself is cut from either Gold or White Glitter Cardstock .
The sentiments for the holiday cards are embossed from the Joyful Christmas Messages Bundle .
I hope you've gained some inspiration to paper piece these beautiful cover plates from Hero Arts! Be sure to watch the video for some very helpful tips to use on this project. Thanks for joining me today!
