Video: Ink Blended Meadow HeroScape

Hi everyone! Ilina here today on the blog! I hope you are loving the July add-ons as much as I do. I had so much fun playing with them. I am loving the new Meadow HeroScape  set, so I decided to use it on my card today!

To make the card start by ink blending the background. First start with the moon. Die cut a circle using the Circle Infinity Dies from masking paper. Make sure you save both the negative and the mask. Position the moon, and then apply the negative. Ink blend using the Lemon Drop  Reactive ink and an  ink blending brush .

Once done, remove the negative mask and apply the circle mask over the moon. Now you can blend the sky. I used the following Reactive inks: Purple Galaxy, Grape Slush , Berry Smoothie  and Taffy .

Watch the video below to see the entire process! (You can also click HERE  to watch on YouTube.)

Once satisfied with the results, use a small paint brush and water to add stars, add some more using White Iridescent Shimmer Spray  and also some with white gel pen. Now the background is done and we can move to stamping the meadow.

Use a stamp positioning tool such as the MISTI to stamp the layers. I used the following Reactive Inks to stamp the three layers: Key Lime Fizz, Green Apple and  Taffy . Color in the mushrooms and little flowers using colored pencils (or any other medium of your choice). Die cut the meadow using the coordinating die . Set aside.

Stamp the sentiment and fairies using Intens-ified Black  ink. Die cut the fairies using the coordinating die cuts. Now you have all the elements for your card and you can assemble the card and adhere the ink blended background to a Top Folding Dove White card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have an amazing day!
