Sophisticated Seashells with Guest Artist Amy Tsuruta

We’re so happy to welcome a special guest to the blog today—Amy Tsuruta! She’s sharing a simple yet striking creation featuring the brand-new Summer by the Shore collection. Take it away, Amy!

Hey Hero Arts Fans! It’s Amy Tsuruta and I’m so happy to be guesting today on the Hero Arts blog today. I’m excited to show you how I was inspired by the new Summer By The Shore Collection.

I’m a huge fan of nontraditional color palettes. I decided to use the following trio:

Not the typical beachy color palette but I was challenging myself to use Celestial.

The Sophisticated Shells Etched Die Set is so fun to play with. It was an easy way for me to combine Bellini and Celestial. I love the 2-layer look!

The sentiment from the Banner Days Stamp & Cut has been heat embossed in gold . I used Cornflower Core Ink for the banner stamp. Originally I didn’t have that extra bit of gold glitter cardstock on the middle shell on the bottom row. I decided to go ahead and cut that piece and add the glitter cardstock for that extra special detail.
