Today we're delighted to have Creative Team member Jayne Nelson  here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the add-ons.

Today I’m sharing a pair of cards featuring two of this month’s new add-on products—the delightful Happy Gnomes Bundle and the Fall Gnome Fancy Die . These items, along with the other new September products, are perfect for creating beautiful fall cards for all your autumn occasions.

For my first card, I started by embossing a punny sentiment from the Happy Gnomes stamp set with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and White Embossing Powder onto a panel of Cherry cardstock. Next, I die cut a Peony heart with a Nesting Hearts Infinity Die and secured it above the sentiment with foam tape. Then, I secured the panel to a Peony card base and set it aside.

For my card’s focal point, I stamped and die-cut a collection of adorable gnome, mushroom and heart images with Intens-ified Black ink onto Dove White cardstock and then colored them with assorted, bright colored pencils. I secured the colored images onto and around the heart with Precision Glue and foam tape. For some texture and shine, I added a trio of Green Enamel Dots .

For my second card, I masked the lower portion of a panel of white cardstock and then using a Blending Brush , I applied Green Apple and Blue Raspberry inks across the upper part of the panel and splattered with water. Once the panel completely dried, I secured it to a Paradise card base.

To make the gnome, I die-cut one full-sized gnome shape with the Fall Gnome Fancy Die from Sand cardstock. Then, using assorted cardstock scraps, I die-cut each piece of the gnome’s outfit and beard, trimming any excess cardstock with small scissors and gluing the trimmed pieces onto the gnome body. I also embossed and die-cut a fun sentiment. Using foam tape, I secured the gnome and the sentiment to the inked panel and then added a few, fall shapes below the sentiment. For a final detail, I added three Blue Enamel Dots .

For a full walkthrough of this month's add-ons, check out the video below. It's also available to   view on YouTube .
