Sending Intergalactic Fairy Kisses!

Hello everybody! It's Maria here and today I am sharing a bright galaxy card and sending you all some intergalactic fairy kisses!

I started out by selecting a galaxy background that I made on a Hero Arts Live last week. I did a session all about creating galaxy backgrounds using Hero Arts mediums and you can check it out by clicking here.

For this background, I ink-blended using Taffy, Splash, Thistle, and Licorice Reactive Inks. Then, I sprayed the background generously with White Iridescent Shimmer Mist and splattered it with White Glimmer Metallic Ink.

I used the Starry Clouds Infinity Dies to cut a frame out of a piece of 4" x 5.25" Pitch Black Cardstock. I used the second largest die to do this. I splattered the black frame with a Glimmer Pen in Opal color. These splatters appear purple on the black cardstock.

Next, I colored a fairy from the Fairy Kisses stamp set using Copic markers and some colored pencils. I used Onyx Pigment ink to stamp a sentiment on vellum before heat embossing it in clear. I added the vellum sentiment to the frame by folding the edges around the black frame and adhering it in back (no adhesive needed in the front.) The fairy was attached with foam tape. Then I added those intergalactic kisses by adding stars for the fairy to blow out into the galaxy (Starts cute with Stars Confetti Fancy Die). I added some sequins and sparkly stars from the Icicle Sequins Mix and that was it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have an amazing day!
