Saturdays with Sally: Alphabet ABC's!

Today is Sally's day on the blog, and it also happens to be SALLY'S BIRTHDAY!!! So before we jump into her Saturdays with Sally post, we wanted to take a moment to wish her a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! We hope you have a wonderful day, Sally!

Now let's see what the birthday girl has created for us today...

I have always cherished different types of alphabets, and this Floral Alphabet became a quick favorite. Let me show you three ideas today for some cards.

For the birthday card, I stamped the alphabet randomly in Green Hills ink onto a white card. Next, I stamped a piece of Azalea cardstock in Peach ink with Circular Grid Bold Prints, then die cut a flower from the Flower Infinity Dies. I also stamped the middle of the grid onto a piece of Mustard cardstock with the same pad, and trimmed it into a circle. The leaves were made with the Hibiscus Fancy Dies using Kiwi and Palm cardstocks. The card is finished off with a message from Let's Celebrate and Sunset Enamel Dots.

Next, I made a love-filled card using the X and O from the alphabet, stamped in Cotton Candy ink on a white card. For the sentiment, I die cut Love Stamp & Cut three times from Coral cardstock and glued them together to get a 3-D look. Afterall, sending love isn't only for Valentine's Day!

Lastly, I created a giant initial and name card inspired by the book “Just Ask” by Sonia Sotomayor. The entire book has beautiful letters filled with floral designs, like the L on this card. Once again I used many of the Flower Infinity Dies. Hand cut a giant “L” or whatever initial you want. Line up the rest of the letters to spell out the name and color them in.

Spell your way to happiness and as always, happy creating!!
