Journaling Photo Frames

Hey friends! Mindy Eggen with you today to share inspiration using the Journaling Photo Frame Infinity Dies. I am a huge fan of frames and this new set that looks like a Polaroid picture is such a fun new look to add into my card making projects.

You can add journaling to them, create a scene, or frame them with florals.

I started by creating a background for my frame. Using a rubber brayer, I applied Sand and Mist ink on a piece of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. Then I added subtle text by stamping the Positive Script Bold Prints in the background using the same Sand ink.

I finished it off with splatters of white paint and Sand ink mixed with a little water. It's not super noticeable but I think it brings a nice vintage feel to the card.

With the Journaling Photo Frame die cut from more white cardstock, I saved the center piece and added a bit of blue to one end using a blending brush. I like to use up what's left on my brushes but if I were to guess, I would say this is Indigo ink.

Then I added some Wisteria to the opposite side of the ink blending. Whenever I work with HeroScapes, I always stamp a ton extra so I have them on hand.

For the sentiment, I die cut the word Smile from Pitch Black cardstock and added it to the bottom of the frame. I stamped a coordinating sentiment onto the ink blended part using Intense Black ink.

While this is a card front, it sure would make a great journaling page. My daughter has been getting into journaling and this reminds me of something she would make except inside the frame she would print out pictures or trim out images from magazines that inspire her.

Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration and it gave you some ideas on how to incorporate the Journaling Photo Frame Infinity Dies into your projects.

Thanks for spending time with me today!
