Iridescent Winter Night Sky

Good morning! Jess here with a simple wintery card featuring lots of ink blending and heat embossing!

First I cut a panel of Lapis cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5". Then I blended Cornflower, Stone Wash, Nautical, and Pitch Black ink over the panel on a diagonal. I dry it with a heat gun and then temporarily tape the Swirling Stars Stencil over the panel. I press my Embossing & Watermark ink pad over the stencil until the design shows on the blended panel. Then I remove the stencil and heat-emboss the design with new Iridescent Gold Embossing Powder. I wish you could see this powder in person...photos do not do that iridescence justice! It's stunning!

Next I stamp several trees from Winter Trees onto the bottom of the panel with Embossing & Watermark ink and heat-emboss them with Black Embossing Powder.  Finally I add a sentiment from Winter Trees heat-embossed with the same Iridescent Gold Embossing Powder on Pitch Black cardstock and die-cut with the coordinating Frame Cuts die. I adhere that with foam mounting tape for a little extra dimension!

And that's it! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
