Believe it or not, the school year is wrapping up here in Georgia next week, and it's time to finalize some teacher gifts! Every class at my kids' school has a nickname - The Monkeys, The Hippos, The Butterflies, etc. My son's teacher this year is Ms. Carroll, and her class is called Carroll's Campers. I knew when I saw some of the new summer products I'd have to make her some cards!
I made a set of cards that she can use as thank you cards. I wanted to keep them very simple, so I just stamped in one layer and watercolored. The cute little tent and other items from hero_product_link sku="CL958" text="The Adventure Begins"] were perfect, as well as the "you make me a happy camper" message from hero_product_link sku="CL973" text="Road Trip"]!
Also perfect for mass producing my cards? My MISTI! Have you tried a MISTI yet? It's a fabulous tool!! It makes it a breeze to stamp multiple cards quickly. But what I love most is that you can re-stamp over what you've already stamped! It helps you get nice, crisp images on difficult surfaces like watercolor paper. And, you can go back after you're done coloring or painting to restamp your image and make it nice and vibrant.
