Grateful For You Tag

Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a tag to share with you using Buffalo Check Pattern Bold Prints. This background stamp is so versatile. It works all year round but for today's project, I thought I would create an autumn tag which fits perfectly for our Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge this month, which is to use fall colours.

When I think of fall colours, I think of rich reds, burnt oranges, mossy greens, browns and yellows. I couldn't fit them all on my tag, but I had fun trying! I started off by die cutting Sand Cardstock using the middle size of the Tag Infinity Dies. I then stamped the Buffalo Check Pattern Bold Prints on top with Soft Brown Shadow Ink

I die cut the Mushrooms & Ferns Fancy Dies from Dove White Cardstock and then added ink on top with Ink Blending Brushes. I used Dandelion, Moss and Pine for the ferns and Soft Brown, Cup 'O Joe and Crimson for the mushrooms. They were adhered to the tag using Precision Glue

The sentiment, from the Color Layering Pumpkin set, was stamped on to Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to two strips and added to the tag with foam tape. To finish off, I added black dots from the Neutrals Enamel Dots set and twine through the top.

I think this tag could easily be added to a card, if you didn't want to use it stand-alone. Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you will check out the Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge and enjoy using your favorite fall colours. Enter any time until November 4 and you might win a $50 Hero Arts gift card!

Have a wonderful day,
