Friend, I Miss You!

Friend, I Miss You!

Hello there, Michelle here with a friendship card to share with you using Passing Clouds Bold Prints. This stamp can be used in lots of different ways and lots of different color combinations too! I have a love for blue and purple and thought it would make a nice dramatic sky.

I started off my card by stamping Passing Clouds Bold Prints on to Dove White cardstock using Reactive Inks. From the top down, I used Purple Galaxy, Grape Slush, Blue Hawaii and Splash. I stamped each ink separately and blended the edges with an Ink Blending Brush, so that each ink color would blend together nicely.

It was cut down and added to a mini slimline card base (3.5" x 6.5"). Since the background is 6" long, I covered up the bottom by die cutting the City HeroScape Frame Cuts from Pitch Black Cardstock and adhering with foam tape. I also die cut the smallest heart from Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies from Cherry Cardstock three times, stacking them up one on top of another and adhering down with Precision Glue

I die cut 'friend' from the Friend Words Fancy Dies set four times from Amethyst cardstock, adding ink blending to one with Purple Galaxy Reactive Ink. They were adhered one on top of another and added to the card with Precision Glue

I stamped the sentiment from Message Strips Stamp & Cut XL on to more Dove White cardstock with Intens-ified Black ink. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with thin foam tape. To finish off, I added Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen to the heart.

I loved the background so much that I didn't really want to cover it up! I think it would look great in smaller sections though too! Thank you so much for stopping by today, wishing you a wonderful crafty day!
