February My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #4 + Giveaway

We're back for another countdown post, leading up to the release of the February My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, February 5th at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be here all weekend long, sharing ideas for using both the main kit, as well as new optional add-on products that will be available on Monday. And don’t forget to comment on each and every post as we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches! Here’s Ilina with another card using the kit...

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks from the February My Monthly Hero Kit and you are feeling inspired. I need a little sunshine and bright colors with the cold weather we have been having here in Georgia. So I decided to use some of the Bold Inks and create a medallion or flower if that works better for you using one of the feather stamps from the main kit and my MISTI. I started by stamping the feather using Dandelion Bold ink, then continued with Green Apple, Aegean, Aquatic, Summer Sky, Orchid, Rose Madder and Tangerine.

Once I was done with my panel I stamped the bird using Intense Black Ink onto Snow Layering Paper and cut it out. I stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink onto Black Layering paper (Midnight mix layering papers) and embossed with White Embossing Powder. I arranged my card, added some Mixed Accents and to finish it off I adhered the panel onto a Black Folded Note Card.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We'll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, February 5th, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you are inspired to do something creative today.
