Create Gorgeous Easel Scenes Using HeroScapes

Hey everybody! It's Maria here today and I've got a fun and easy way to "paint" the canvas on the Painting Easel woodblock stamp.

I started out by stamping the Easel on Luxe Watercolor Paper in INTENS-ified Black ink. Then I masked off the edges of the paper leaving only the easel's canvas exposed. I used my MISTI to stamp one of the stamps from the Meadow HeroScape onto the canvas in Thistle Reactive ink.

I added in some extra detail by watercoloring with both Splash and Blue Hawaii. I painted some mountains and added extra color around the edges. Then I spritzed the sky with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray. I added white highlights and a moon with a white Posca pen.

I used my Copic markers to color the easel in shades of brown. I used black Sharpie to get a little extra depth and a gold pen to add metallic shine to the nails.

To finish off the background I watercolored in Thistle Reactive ink and Black Liquid Watercolor. Then I stamped a sentiment from Sending Love Mail in Onyx Pigment ink and heat embossed it in clear. I added a thin black mat to the card front and that was it!

The cool thing about this is that you could use any of the many HeroScapes to create a variety of scenes. Click HERE to check out all of your HeroScape options.

Ok, you guys, that is it for today and I hope you all have an awesome day!
