Hello everyone. Welcome to our last CommUNITY blog post feature for 2024. We are so glad you are here.
In 2020, Hero Arts started the Unity Collection with Dana Joy and Pocono Pam. This collaboration has been such a success because of people like you. The mission for the collaboration was to create a bridge between communities that felt underrepresented in the crafting community. Between Hero Arts, Dana and Pam the focus was to create diversity, inclusion and the welcoming of all minorities to be seen and heard.
We are so very proud of everyone who supported this product line. And we cannot forget the amazing guests we had each month on the Hero Arts blog. Your talent never went unnoticed. Your kindness, dedication and willingness to reach outside your comfort zone to create with the products is heartwarming and very validating to many.
For my final projects for this year on the blog, I used the beautiful United People Hot Foil Plate. The United People line has been one of my favorite products in the collection. It makes me feel like we are all together in this world and we can support each other even through our differences.
For my second project I used the World Goddess and the Love Is Love Bold Prints. I see this image as a representation that we each have a chance to make this world a better place. Diversity and inclusion is such an important part of making the world a better place. When we love and respect each other, we CAN be unstoppable. The work might be hard, but it is truly worth it.
