Today Creative Team member Ilina Crouse is going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for a few of the add-ons. Take it away, Ilina...

Hi everyone, Ilina here today with two cards using the new add-ons for June! I love the beach and anything that has to do with ocean/lake and water in general, so this month's collection is right up my alley.

For my first card I used the Seas the Day Seagulls. To make the card, start by stamping the images on alcohol marker friendly card stock with Intense Black ink. Color them in and cut them. (Coordinating dies are available for this set.) Cut a piece of Snow layering paper to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and create the background by blending Tide Pool, Soft Pool, Butter Bar and Orange Soda inks. Once the ink has dried stamp the waves using Versamark and emboss with Ultra Fine embossing powder.

Next, using a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white card stock, die cut a circle using one of the Circle Infinity Dies. Stamp the sentiment on Black layering paper (Midnight mix) and emboss with Detail White embossing powder. Trim it to size. Assemble your card onto a Black folded note card.

For my second card I used the Abstract Wave Bold Prints. Start by stamping the background on watercolor paper with Versamark ink. Then emboss with White embossing powder. Using Deep Ocean, Indigo and Pine Liquid watercolors, color the entire background and trim it to 4" x 5 1/4".

On Snow Layering Paper stamp the sentiment from Beach Messages using Intense Black ink and die cut it using Tag Frame Infinity Dies. Die cut larger label from vellum. Assemble your card onto a Snow folded note card and add some navy twine and white enamel dots to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you are inspired to do something creative!
