Today our Creative Team is going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for two of the add-ons. First up is Clare with a fun shaker card.

Clare: Although I have to admit that Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorite actresses, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the sassy little cat in You Are Fabulous stamp set.

I stamped the cat in Charcoal, colored her in with some ZIG’s, and after cutting her out, set her aside to set the stage.

First, I covered the lightest shade from the Floral Layering paper pack with Navy ink, then covered it with some Sparkle embossing powder. After embossing, I die cut the paper using the Circle Infinity dies.

I then stamped the same shade of purple paper with Soft Lilac, using the gorgeous Floral Wallpaper background stamp. I punched the corners with a 1″ hole puncher (you could use a smaller circle die), then die cut the center using a larger circle die from the same set. I inked my sentiment with Versamark, then Navy, stamped, and heat embossed in Sparkle again.

To create my shaker card, I lined up my background with my embossed circle, then adhered my circle. Before adhering the background paper, I added some Purple Ombre sequins to the center of the card, then adhered the stamped paper, using some dimensional adhesive and acetate to create the pocket.

I finally topped it off with Ms. Sassafras (aka, the cat ;)) that I colored earlier, and that finished off the card!

And here’s Amy with an adorable friendship card.

Amy:  The April option add-ons are pretty spectacular! Today I’m featuring the Dress Up Stamp & Cut.

I decided to add a cloud from the Nesting Clouds Infinity Dies as her skirt. I kept my coloring minimal to have the sentiment be the focal point of my design. I’m definitely in spring mode and decided to use the Pool Mixed Layering Papers.

There are so many possibilities for this set. One of my favorites is the mixed font sentiments.

Super clean + simple and a great anytime card to send to a sweet friend.

We hope you enjoyed today’s projects. Thanks so much for stopping by for a peek!
