Today’s a fun day here at Hero Arts – we are launching our brand new Valentine’s Collection in the Hero Arts store! We know it’s a little strange to be thinking about Valentine’s Day while we’re in the midst of the busy December holidays, but trust us, February will be here before you know it. And you’ll want some of these fabulous new products for stamping out your Valentine’s wishes!

I really like using stencils to create beautiful backgrounds for small focal points on my cards. The new Love Swirls Stencil is perfect for creating a beautiful, graphic heart background for valentine, wedding, anniversary and other love cards. I simply inked the stencil with Pale Tomato ink onto a panel of white cardstock, wrapped the panel with a piece of vellum, and then secured it to a gray card base.
I embossed one of the wonderful images from the new Love Tattoos wood stamp set onto a circle of gray cardstock, secured it with foam tape, and then embellished the center of the image with a single pearl. I also added an embossed sentiment from the You Are My Happy stamp set below the Love tattoo. Just for fun, I finished the card with a pretty, over-sized bow.
