If you're like me, I'm finding myself thankful to be putting away the Christmas Paper while reaching for something that harkens spring. I'm
Becca Feeken with
Amazing Paper Grace and spring is on my mind. Indeed, Spring Flowers, April Showers! A touch of vintage paper, lace and flowers was enough to get me dreaming of flower gardens beginning to bloom.

For my card today I started with a 5 1/2" x 7 - 1/2 base out of cream - this is my favorite size of card. I assemble the base from one 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of cardstock cut in half at 5 -1/2". On one of the panels I score and fold 1" from the end; where this piece is folded becomes the top of my card. I simply apply glue that 1" tab and attach the remaining panel to the glued area making sure it is even across the top.

One of my "go to" styles is a frame where the layers are lifted by double pieces of foam tape. This adds dimension and gives defining texture. The inside of the frame is perfect for a large sentiment.
S5-308 Hemstitch Rectangles is layered over the base layer along with a rectangle from
S5-131 Matting Basics A.

I anchored the design with flowers on the lower side. Using
S4-792 Cinch and Go Flowers 2, I used the smallest three sets of petals to form three flowers that are staggered on the bottom. The designed is topped with an arch from
S5-330 Lunette Arched Borders.
