And just like that... we've reached the final day of our 13 Days of Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar sneak peeks! It’s been a frightfully fun ride, and we hope you've loved peeking behind each door as much as we’ve loved sharing what’s inside.
Whether your style leans spooky or sweet, each day of Craftoween delivered a mini die set packed with potential — perfect for cards, tags, treats, and all your October makes.
Today, we’re opening Door 13 and wrapping up the series with one last hauntingly creative project. This time, it’s from the ever-talented Jennifer Kotas, who’s conjured up something special to celebrate this final reveal.

It’s day 13 of the Craftoween Advent Calendar reveal, and I’m sharing a step-by-step photo tutorial to create a spooky, cute Halloween card.
The purpose of the partial embossing, leaving the bottom of the panel flat, is to create a space for the sentiment that works well with the design.
Die cut the pieces from the Craftoween Day 13 card, holding dies in place with Best Ever Craft Tape. These dies are all small enough to fit through the Scout Platinum Die Cutting Machine.
I used Waterfall, Anchor, Peridot, Raven, Onyx Glitter Cardstock, and Antique White Glitter Cardstock.
Die cut the spider web and bat from Halloween Add-Ons Stamp and Die Set, and a bat from Boos! Cocktails Etched Dies out of Onyx Glitter Cardstock.
Place an A2 panel of Violet ColorWheel Cardstock in the Damask 3D Embossing Folder with about an inch hanging below the pattern. Place the Adapter Plate (D) just slightly above folder and run through the Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine.
There’s now enough space to stamp the sentiment, and by shifting the adapter plate up the embossing fades with no harsh lines.
Emboss the sentiment using white embossing powder.
Add shading to the Anchor Cardstock using a dark gray ink.
Add shading to the Waterfall Cardstock with a dark teal ink.
Blend a dark purple, darkest on the edges fading to center then add a dark gray just at edges. Finish with Raven Splatter Effects splattered all over. To remove ink and splatter from sentiment, gently wipe with a towel.
Assemble die cuts with liquid glue. Add anything to panel that lays flat with liquid glue as well. Trim any overhang.
Add 1MM Black Foam Adhesive Squares to the backs of the die cuts and sentiment.
Place the main die cut on the card, then adhere bats at the center only with liquid glue. Use reverse tweezers to hold in place while they dry.
