Perfect BetterPress Sentiments for Every Season
Hello, it’s Jean Manis here and I am excited to share three cards created with products in the Spellbinders All Seasons Scrapbooking Collection. The lowercase script font used in the sentiments has a timeless elegance and versatile appeal, making the sentiments perfect for any season and occasion. I have used three of the collection’s BetterPress sets and one of the die sets, along with other Spellbinders die sets, to create a fall, a Christmas, and an Easter card.
On the fall card, seasonal flowers are paired with a BetterPress sentiment that says "These golden days," evoking the warmth and beauty of autumn.
Cover an A-2 size card base with a kraft cardstock panel cut with the Starshine Background
Cut flowers and other foliage with dies in the Sunflower Serenade and Autumn Sealed sets from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
Tip: Adjust shims as necessary in the BetterPress platform to achieve best results.
Affix floral items to card base. Add sentiment with foam and embellish card with Gold Mix
For the Christmas card, I’ve featured an adorable penguin on a dry-embossed background, with a die-cut sentiment that reads “Winter” and a BetterPress sentiment proclaiming, “Let It Snow.”
With the “Winter” dies in the Four Seasons set, cut the letters from silver glitter cardstock and the outline from white flocked cardstock. Glue the letters to the outline. The silver glitter cardstock paired with the white flocked cardstock adds sparkle and texture, making it perfect for a clean and simple winter card. The combination suggests the frosty and serene feel of winter.
Add penguin, die-cut sentiment, snowflakes, and BetterPress sentiment to the dry-embossed background. Add Silver Mix gems to snowflake centers.
A whimsical Easter card showcases a charming bunny gnome paired with the playful sentiment "Hippity Hoppity.”
Cover an A-2 size card base with Purple Mist Cut an oval from textured white cardstock with a die in the Essential Stylish Ovals set. Using the next smallest oval die, cut a light blue cardstock panel that has been cut with the Starshine Background die. Use the same oval die to cut a strip of green cardstock. Add the green cardstock section, representing the ground in the scene, to the light blue oval. Add the assembly to the card background.
Cut the car, gnome, Easter egg, and floral items with dies in the Gnome Drive Spring and Gnome Drive Holiday sets from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble as required. Cut clouds from Snowdrift cardstock with dies in the On Cloud Nine
Add car, gnome, egg, clouds, floral items, and sentiment to oval background.
