More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!

Hi, crafty friends! I’m Nicki Baxley  bringing you tons of ways to use pocket cards! They are so versatile and make great “gift” holders for any occasion. More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!

Happy Birthday Gift Card Holder

More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!, S5-656, STN-100, BP-162 I created this card to coordinate with the colors of the Starbucks gift card. To start, I ink blending the Build a Plaid stencil in orange, pink and green on the pocket front. Next, I used the Pinking Edge Dies to create the removable piece. I added some temporary adhesive to the gift card to make sure is pulls out with the rest of the pocket insert. More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!, S5-656, STN-100, BP-162

Merry Christmas Money Holder

More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!, S5-656, STN-100, SD-196 I used the Build a Plaid Stencil to create some peppermint looking stripes on this front of this card. To create the money holder, I cut 2 sets of holly dies. I adhered these pieces together then added a small piece of foam tape to the edge of each holly set. Next, I folded the money and placed the holly pieces so that they would hold it. No adhesive was placed on the money, just held against the foam tape. What a fun surprise to pull out this tab to find your Christmas present! More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!, S5-656, STN-100, SD-196

Halloween Pocket

More Than Just a Card! Explore Ways to Use Pocket Cards!, SCS-252, S5-656, STN-100, SDS-195, SCS-315 For this card, I simply created a fun message on the pull out and instead added lots of details to the front of the pocket. I started with a silver glitter paper web. Next, I added a cute little spider with googly eyes. I loved bringing the colors together with the Build a Plaid stencil on the background.
