Hey Crafty Friends, it’s Amy Tsuruta, and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog featuring the gorgeous Summer Felt Stitch & Create Collection by Nichol Spohr. I’m a huge fan of Nichol’s collection and always thoroughly enjoy them!
My first project is the Felt Berry Blossom.
The Felt Berry Blossom is absolutely adorable. I cut the pieces from the 100% Merino Wool Poppy, Mossy, and Glacier from the Holiday Collection. The frame is from the Emerald Cut Label. The sentiment is from the Altenew - Blossoming ApplePress Plate. The button is from my stash.
Next up is another card that features the Felt Cheeky Apple Etched Dies.
If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you would know that I love all things fruit. I live in Washington State and love apples. Did you know that Washington State is the leading apple-producing state in the US? I cut the pieces from the 100% Merino Wool Poppy, Mossy, and Snow from the Holiday Collection and Mocha from the Neutral Collection. The flower was cut from craft felt that I had in my stash, and the button topper was also cut from Poppy. The sentiment, from the Altenew - Blossoming Apple PressPlate, was inked up in Bark and printed on Bisque paper. The frame is from the Emerald Cut Label, cut with Mocha felt.
My final project features the Felt Floral Beehive Etched Dies from the Summer Felt Stitch & Create Collection by Nichol Spohr.
I love how all three turned out, but the Beehive was a labor of love. I had so much fun designing this one, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I cut the pieces from the 100% Merino Wool Beeswax and Azalea from the Warm Collection, Mossy, Snow, and Coal from the Holiday Collection, and Latte and Icy from the Neutral Collection. The sentiment is from the Typewriter Adventure Sentiments.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I adore this beautiful collection, and I can’t wait to see how you’re inspired. You can find me over on Instagram @craftee1.
