Hello everyone!! This is Brenda, from
MyPaperCut Creations. I am absolutely thrilled to be guest posting for Spellbinders today!! I am sharing three cards that feature the beautiful
Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Plates designed by Becca Feeken.
I had never used a foiling system before I received the
Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foiling System & I feel that it has taken my card making to another level!
My first project combines two of the
Glorious Glimmer Plates by Becca Feeken to create this sympathy card.

I feel that with sympathy cards, sometimes simpler is better. The foiling adds a lot of class to a simple card.

I started by hot foiling the sentiment from
Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Plates and the leaves from the
Foil Flowers Glorious Glimmer Plates with
Matte Gold Foil onto dark blue cardstock. I die-cut the sentiment (which is an incredibly beautiful font) with the coordinating die (which is included) and fussy cut the leaves. I drew some lines around a dark blue cardstock panel with a gold gel pen and a T-square ruler. The sentiment and leaves were popped up in the center of the panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, clusters of crystal drops finish off the card.

You're Amazing Card
My second card uses the
Foil Flowers Glorious Glimmer Plates again, but his time I paired it with the
Elegant Affirmation Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Plates.

I foiled the sentiment using the
Elegant Affirmation Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Plates and the flowers from the
Foil Flowers Glorious Glimmer Plates with
Pink Foil and cut them with the included dies. I foiled the leaves from the
Foiled Flowers Glorious Glimmer Plates with
Silver Foil and fussy cut those. I arranged all of my elements and picked them up all at once using Press ’N Seal. This allowed me to add liquid adhesive between the elements and foam adhesive to the back of them, all at one time. (The Press ‘N Seal did add a slight texture to the foil, but I liked it…just be aware.)

The die-cuts were placed onto a panel of pink cardstock. A few sequins finished off the card nicely.

Happy Anniversary Card
My final card uses the
Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Plates with the
Elegant Rectangle Glorious Glimmer Plates. I love the look of the
silver foil on white.

For this one, I
silver foiled the largest of the
Elegant Rectangle Glorious Glimmer Plates onto a panel of white cardstock. The second largest element was foiled onto a separate white cardstock panel and fussy cut. I tied some white organza ribbon into a bow around the smaller one and adhered it with foam adhesive onto the background panel. Happy Anniversary, from the
Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Plates, was foiled onto white cardstock and die-cut with the included die. It was also popped up with some foam adhesive.

A silver heart embellishment and some clear confetti were the perfect finishing touches!
