Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial with you using Bibi’s Little Blessings Collection. I am creating a simple shaped card using the Divine Arch Card Creator Etched Dies. This set features lots of layers, but I wanted to show you that it can also be used in more of a clean and simple way with fewer layers too!

DIE CUTTING THE ANGEL

Die cut the dies from Blessing Angels Etched Dies:
NOTE: The dies are shown in the photo facing upwards, so that you can see which die is cut from which cardstock. When die cutting, you need to have the cut side facing down onto the cardstock.
- Place hands/feet/neck die, as well as face die, onto Alabaster ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Place arms die, as well as the two layers of the top part of the dress (the outside die cuts the shape of the dress, the inside die adds the pattern to the dress), onto Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Place the middle layer of the dress, as well as the flower dies, onto Fairy Tale ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Place the bottom layer of the dress die onto Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Place hair dies onto Fawn ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Place flower crown die onto Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Place Candle die onto Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape. Please note, you will need to cut this from Beeswax ColorWheel Cardstock too, for the flame part.
- Place wings die onto vellum and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.

- Run through Platinum Six Die Cutting Machine using the following sandwich (bottom to top):
- A Platform Base
- B Platform Top
- C Cutting Plate
- Cardstock with die on top
- C Cutting Plate
- Repeat the process to cut the flowers from Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock.
ASSEMBLE THE ANGEL

- Apply Bearly Art Glue to the back of the top hair piece.

- Adhere to the top part of the head.
TIP: Tweezers are really helpful for picking up small die cuts!

- Apply glue to the top part of the ponytail.
- Adhere behind the bottom of the hair.

- Apply glue to the top of the neck.
- Adhere head on top.

- Apply glue to the back of the flower crown.
- Adhere to top of the head.

- Apply glue to the middle of the flowers.
- Adhere individual flowers on top, but offset them, so it looks like the green flowers are leaves around the purple flowers.

- Apply glue to the bottom layer of the neck.
- Adhere the main part of the dress on top.

- Apply glue to the top of the middle layer of the dress.
- Adhere behind the main layer.

- Apply glue to the top of the bottom layer of the dress.
- Adhere behind the middle layer of the dress.

- Apply glue to the base of the hands/wrists.
- Adhere behind the arm piece.

- Apply glue to the base of the sleeves/cuff pieces.
- Adhere behind hands.

- Apply glue to the middle of the arm piece and adhere to the back of the angel, wrapping the arms around the front of the angel.
- Apply glue to the top of the legs.
- Adhere behind the bottom of the dress.

- Add small dab of glue to the top of the candle.
- Adhere flame layer on top.
- Add glue to the back of the candle.
- Place candle behind the hands.

- Flip angel over and apply glue to the top of the back.
- Adhere wings on top.
CREATING THE CARD BASE

- Die cut the 2nd largest die from Divine Card Creator Etched Dies, twice, from Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock.

- Make a score line towards the top, approximately 1” from the top of the arch, using a score board and bone folder. This will create a hinge.

- Apply tape runner adhesive to the hinge (above the score line).

- Adhere other arch piece on top.

- Reinforce the fold line by opening the card, to make sure it will stand up nicely.
TIP: This is an easy way to create shaped cards. The same method can apply to any shaped card base.

- Die cut the 2nd largest die from Divine Card Creator Etched Dies from Fairy Tale ColorWheel Cardstock.
- Apply adhesive to the back.
- Adhere to card base.

- Die cut 3rd largest die, with the rays die inside, from Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock.

- Die cut 3rd largest die again, but this time on its own, from Beeswax ColorWheel Cardstock.

- Apply Bearly Art Glue onto the back of the white layer, and adhere to the yellow layer.

- Apply adhesive to the back.
- Adhere to card.

- Apply foam squares to the back of the angel. You may need to cut some smaller using scissors.
- Remove backings off foam squares.

- Adhere to card.
SENTIMENT

- Place piece of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock inside Mini MISTI.
- Place ‘Sending Blessings’ stamp from Everyday Blessings & Banners onto the cardstock, impression side down.
- Close the door of the MISTI to pick up the stamp.

- Open door of MISTI and ink up the stamp using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.

- Close door of Mini MISTI to transfer ink onto cardstock.
TIP: Depending on how well-inked your ink pad is, you may need to repeat this step again to get a good impression of the sentiment. Make sure to keep the cardstock in place in the corner of the Mini MISTI and you will be able to stamp multiple times in the same place.

- Place die from Flawless Sentiments set (or any other sentiment strip die that will fit) over the sentiment, cut side down, and hold in place with Best Ever Craft Tape.
- Run through Platinum Six Die Cutting Machine to die cut out.
- Remove from die.

- Cut the edges of the sentiment strip using a Guillotine Paper Trimmer, so that the strip better fits the length of the sentiment.

- Apply foam squares to the back of the strip.
- Adhere to card.
EMBELLISH

- Adhere Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems around the angel.
I love the arch shape of this card! Whilst the Divine Card Creator Etched Dies look amazing as intended, I hope that I have shown that you can use them in a different way too. You can add or remove layers based on your style and card design. And isn’t that angel just beautiful? Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, I hope you have a wonderful day!
