Crafty and Happy

Hey Crafty Friends, it’s Amy Tsuruta and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog featuring the amazing Crafty Babe Collection with Simple Stories. I love the retro color palette and crafty theme. I had so much fun with these happy colors! I have three cards that I made especially for today. Let’s take a look at my first project: Crafty and Happy, BD-0970, SS24300, SS24311, SS24314, S4-1467, S4-1463 I used one of the icons from the Crafty Babe Die Bundle, also separately as Labels & Icons Etched Dies. I mounted it on a white rectangle to look like a Polaroid photo. I teamed it up with a journal card and stripe paper from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12x12 Collection kit and the speech bubbles are from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe Foam Stickers. The second card uses the heart die in the Labels & Icons Etched Dies. Crafty and Happy, BD-0970, SS24300, SS24311, SS24314, S4-1467, S4-1463 I die-cut four hearts centered on black squares. Each is backed with one of two patterns from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12x12 Collection kit. The sentiment is from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe Foam Stickers, and the die-cut flowers are from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe Simple Pages Page Pieces. My final and favorite card: Crafty and Happy, BD-0970, SS24300, SS24311, SS24314, S4-1467, S4-1463 The scissors and washi are from the Crafty Tools Etched Dies from the Crafty Babe Collection. They are also available in the Crafty Babe Die Bundle. The sentiment is from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe Foam Stickers. The journal card and pattern papers are from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12x12 Collection kit. Thanks so much for taking a peek at my project today! I had so much fun working with this collection, love the colors and the coordinating dies! I can’t wait to see how you’re inspired.  You can find me over on Instagram.
