Join Kim Kesti in the Creative Classroom as she experiments with the beautiful
June Large Die of the Month. Watch as Kim creates three Slimline cards mixing and matching dies and embossing folders for super colorful card projects!
The June Large Die of the Month, called Colorblock Circles & Stripes is a powerhouse die set with so many possibilities. It includes detailed circles to layer, a wavy line to surround the circles, and a long die to create stripes of varying widths. This die set is perfect for standard sized cards as well as slimline cards. It coordinates perfectly with the
June Clear Stamp of the Month, Circles of Sunshine.
In today’s video, Kim uses the stripes to cover a slimline card. (Trim cardstock 8.5x7, and fold to make a 8.5x3.5-inch card front.) Next, Kim adds the Happy Birthday circle die cut. Then, she plays around with some of the circles and rings she die cut and layers them together, experimenting with different color combinations to create a row of circles across her slimline card.

For Kim’s second card, she begins with an embossed panel, using our
Slimline Flora Embossing Folder. Kim highlights the Circles of Sunshine Clear Stamp of the Month in this card, showing how perfectly it adds more creative possibilities when paired with the June die set. A simple stamped sentiment is die cut and layered on additional circles. Kim finishes off this card with die cut blooms from
Simply Perfect Layered Blooms Dies, and
Mini Blooms and Sprigs Dies.

Kim’s third card features the
Color Block Slices die set, which creates sunburst and zigzag backgrounds. Watch and see just how Kim arranges her die cut pieces to create a fresh sunrise pattern. Another stamped circle sentiment from Circles of Sunshine, finished off this lovely card.
