Buffalo Check Stencil + Card | TryDay Friday

You know how we love our Try Day Friday series!  Each Friday afternoon on our Facebook page , we share a new technique with you LIVE.  Isn't that so fun?  This week Training Manager Lynn Leusch is using a classic product, our Buffalo Check Stencil!   This fun stencil feels so on trend right now, as the Buffalo Check pattern is everywhere. If you'd like to watch on our YouTube channel, you can see the video right here .  Make sure you leave Lynn a comment and let her know how much you enjoyed her projects and appreciate her sharing fun ideas with all of us.

Isn't that just a gorgeous and oh so classic Christmas card?  You could give this card to anyone this season.  It's fun to create and pretty simple, too.  Let's take a closer look and break down the card!

Stencils are such a great way to add pattern to cardstock or anything else!] and use it over and over again.  You can use lots of mediums, but Lynn used our Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink pad with our Fusion Ink Sponges .  They are great for depositing ink so it looks vibrant! Tip: cut up the sponge!  You can use smaller pieces easily and then you can use the package for more colors]

Now that we've got that Buffalo Check magic, let's embellish the card! Lynn kept it simple and we can see why -- who needs more?! Simply cut your cardstock with the rectangle from the Special Day Die Set and stamp this sentiment from our Holiday Joy Stamp Set using Clear Pigment Ink because we're going to heat emboss this beauty!

But, we need to embellish, of course.  It easy with some branches from our Branch and Cone Die Set , a button from the amazing Holiday Mix & Match   Embellishment Pack plus our Whip Cream Thread .  Isn't it all so festive and perfect?  Think of the fun you could have creating this card.  And it wouldn't take that long, either if you need something quick!]

It's almost Christmas and we know you've been busy creating!  What have you made so far?  Will you or have you tried our Buffalo Check Stencil this season?  Either way, make sure you share with us because we love to see what you create.  Post your project on our Facebook page or tag us on Instagram so we can see.
