You Are My Favorite

Making cards for the men in your life can be quite fun when you have in hand a stamp set apt for that purpose. Today I am sharing a card using a stamp set named hero_product_link sku="CL948" text="Dapper Dad"], which is perfect to create Father's Day cards or other masculine projects.

I thought a simple card design would be right to showcase this fun set. I began by stamping the hero_product_link sku="CG695" text="Irregular Grid Bold Prints"] over a card base with hero_product_link sku="AF334" text="Strawberry Hybrid ink"]. Then I created the main panel of the card with a hero_product_link sku="DC610" text="Snow Layering Paper"] rectangle. I stamped the argyle pattern image a few times using different colors of ink to create a partial background. Then I stamped the sentiments over that pattern with hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black ink"].

I stamped the glasses and hat also with hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black ink"] over a piece of hero_product_link sku="DC610" text="Snow Layering Paper"]. I colored the hat's band with a red marker and then, I trimmed out the pieces with scissors. I adhered both pieces over the panel with foam tape. I adhered the panel over the card base using a piece of foam underneath just to give a bit of dimension. I also put Glossy Accents over the hat, glasses and the word "Dad" and I finished off the card with some enamel dots as embellishments.

Thanks for joining me today, I hope you got some inspiration to try making some masculine cards.
