It's time for the June My Monthly Hero release!

It's a jungle out there! Our June release focuses on the botany and biology of the jungle, from lush, leafy backgrounds to the amazing animals who occupy this beautiful habitat. There are a couple of fantastic stand-alone dies this month as well. Leaves & Vines Fancy Die is gorgeous whether it's cut out from a solid color, or with color added!

Now let's take a look at a project Janette created with this month's kit!

This month's jungle themed kit is so much fun! I could not wait to get my paintbrush wet when I saw then included Daniel Smith watercolor dot palette. I immediately stamped all the images with the kit included ultra dark Hero Arts Intense-ified black ink on watercolor paper, and got to painting with no plan in mind. A great way to decompress!

The included Daniel Smith watercolor dot palette was curated to compliment this month's designs, and it is perfection! Add the deepest color to the shadows, nooks and crannies and blend out to light, or even white. Allow to dry and add a second layer for more depth and interest.

As the images dry, create a frame with a Rounded Rectangle Infinity die and Dove White cardstock and stamp sentiment. Adhere frame, with dimensional adhesive over an Aquatic ink blended background.

Die cut images. Tuck monkey into branch and adhere over blended background with dimensional adhesive. The branch section that is over the frame can be adhered flat. Pop elephant and tuck into lower corner. Add an additional leaf swag to the overall simple design. Adhere finished panel to folded card base.
