Halloween Treat Bags + Cards

Hello! Today I have three fun Halloween projects to share with you! First up are some super simple treat bag toppers.

To create the toppers, I stamped the message using the Essential Lowercase Letters set. Then I added some bugs using the Bugs Ink 'n' Stamp tub, which has great selection of creepy crawler images that are perfect for Halloween projects.

Next, I adhered the stamped piece to a folded piece of colored cardstock that I stapled to a clear bag filled with candy. These are so easy to make that they would be great to get kids involved! Just give them some white pieces of cardstock trimmed to the correct size and they can do the stamping. And with the alphabet stamp set, you can personalize the names along with messages of your choice.

Next up is a card that would be perfect to send to a friend during the month of October.

I started by gluing strips of Amethyst, Papaya and Kiwi cardstock to a white card base. Then I die cut the Stars Confetti Fancy Die from Pitch Black cardstock and adhered it over the top.

Next, I stamped a message from the Hand Drawn Everyday Messages set on Kiwi cardstock. I die cut it using the Nesting Circles Infinity Dies and mounted it to a vellum circle.

This design would also be great for a birthday card! Just change up the colored strips of paper behind the stars background and the message. I'm thinking a rainbow background with a white star die cut panel would be super cute!

My last card for today features the Starry Night Brushstroke Bold Prints background stamp using the emboss resist technique.

I stamped and white heat embossed the background image on a piece of white cardstock. Then I blended Grape Slush and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks along with some black ink around the edges.

I white heat embossed a message with the Art Deco Letters on Pitch Black cardstock and mounted it to a piece of vellum. Mount the panel to a black card base and then finish it off with some sequins.

I hope you enjoyed these projects and are inspired to create some Halloween-themed cards of your own!

Very Halloweeny! Love it! I live 6 hours away from my family.. My nephew (6) called just to ask if I would go with him trick r treating – I’ll have to send him little trick or treat halloween care package! I hate missing out on their lives but with my handmade cards & gifts it helps to carry away the heavy load. Thank you for sharing your creations! I guess sometimes these blogs takes mind back home! 💜
