Creating a Cloudy Night Sky

Hello there, Michelle here today sharing a card using the new Star Wreath Fancy Die, along with a cloudy night sky. The Star Wreath Fancy Die is an add-on to the February 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit. It works really well with other products in the release, or on its own.

Dreams Come True by Michelle Short for Hero Arts

I started off with my background. I took a 3.75" x 5" panel of Dove White Cardstock and placed the cloud part of the Clouds and Grass Scenic Stencil on top. Using Ink Blending Brushes, I blended on Blue Hawaii and Grape Slush Reactive Inks. I moved the stencil down the panel as I went, to cover it fully with clouds.

It was then splattered with White Glimmer Metallic Ink and set aside to dry. Once dry, it was adhered to a top folding card base with foam tape. I took the Star Wreath Fancy Die and die cut it three times from Dove White Cardstock. They were adhered one on top of another using Precision Glue and then adhered to the card.

The sentiment, from the new Dream Messages set, was stamped on to Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more foam tape. To finish off, I added a few jewels.

I really like the dark clouds, I think they work great for a night sky. Thanks so much for stopping by today, happy crafting!
