A Blog Named Hero - Glitter & Sparkle

Hi there crafting friends! It's Linda and I’m excited to be here today, to introduce the latest challenge on A Blog Named Hero.

It’s heading towards the holiday season, so adding some sparkle will be right on time!

For my card, I started with a plain white card base, then I took some texture paste and scraped it over the Glorious Petal Stencil. I then quickly added some classic, now-retired Hero Arts Prisma Glitter, and set it aside to dry.

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the Color Layering Poinsettia stamp, with Soft Blossom, Bubble Gum and Red Royal ink for the flower, and Soft Green with Green Hills ink for the petals. I swiped some Bubble Gum ink onto another strip of cardstock, and added the sentiment from the same stamp set, in Intense Black ink.

After fussy cutting the poinsettia, I added it to the now dry embossed panel and attached everything to a card base. (Even easier would be using the matching dies!)

Such a simple card to make, and would have been very easy to make multiples of, ready for Christmas time. I hope you like it!! I can’t wait to make more to send out this year.

As always, our beloved Hero Arts have sponsored our challenge, so you can win one of two gift vouchers to buy some delicious Hero Arts goodies!!

Hope you’re all keeping safe and well, we look forward to seeing what you make for the challenge!
