Sending Warm Winter Wishes Your Way!

Hi everyone! It's Maria here and I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Today I've got a fun card to share with you using the new Winter Wishes Bundle. This set is perfect for building a beautiful focal point on your cards and you could also use it to make tags or paper ornaments.

I started out by stamping the image on white cardstock using INTENSE-ified Black ink. Then I colored the image using Copic markers and die cut it out using the coordinating dies. I wanted to create a sparkly, winter sky so I attached the die cut image to a circle of white glitter paper (cut using the inside of the Fancy Die included for a perfect size match). While I had that Fancy Die out I also cut a frame out of gold cardstock to create a beautiful border for my image piece. I adhered the pieces using tape on the back where it would be hidden then added foam adhesive to better hold it all together. I finished the centerpiece off by adding a red bow that I had colored and die cut.

Oh! I almost forgot about a couple of little details! I did add some white detail using a white gel pen. That's fun for holiday cards because it can look like snow. Even better than the gel pen though is the Snow & Froth Technique Kit which allows you to add puffy, dimensional snow to your projects. I used the kit to add snow in front of the house and it added cool texture and dimension to the card.

Once my focal point was done I needed to create a background that was subtle and pretty. I decided to add multiple sentiments to my MISTI and stamp them randomly onto white cardstock using Mist and Granite Core Inks. I trimmed this piece down to 4" x 5.25" and added foam adhesive to the back.

Now the only thing left to do was to adhere all of my layers. I chose Mist Cardstock for my A2 sized base and added my sentiment-stamped background to that. Then I added my gold-framed holiday image to finish off my card.

That's it for today you guys! I hope today's card gives you some inspiration for your holiday crafting and that you all have a fantastic day!
