Video: Spotlighting With Bold Prints

Hi friends! I have a fun old school technique for you today that's normally used with a focal image, but I'm using it with the Rainbows & Clouds December Cling Stamp of the Month . Any background stamp that has a colorable element to it works particularly well here.

Lining up the two panels is the most important part as you will see in the video - but after that, this is a very quick and easy card to complete.

One of the best, quickest ways to create contrast between your background and the spotlighted portion of your card is with ink blending, so I used  Granite Ink and a Blending Brush to darken my background and really make the colored spotlight pop.

Isn't that a fun way to use a large coloring book style background? See all my tips for lining it up (or not) in the video.

You can also watch the video on YouTube HERE .

Thanks for stopping by!
