Video: Paper Layering Large Lotus

Some of my favorite products from the new 2016 Hero Arts Catalog are the Paper Layering Dies. The die that I am featuring today is called Large Lotus. This is a pop-up die that gives the paper a 3-D effect. You die cut the paper, and then, you fold or curl the cuts to reveal the beautiful Lotus design. I made a video showing how I made a card using this pretty die, please check it out: fve]

(If you are having problems viewing this video, please try watching it  HERE  on YouTube.)

I started this card by creating a few masks using the same die. Using the masks I gave color to the flowers and I created the plaid background (you can see all the details on the video above.)

I love stamping because you can make any image look the way you want, so you can give them your personal touch as well as making them unique and beautiful at the same time.

With this die you can also create simpler cards, like the one I created for the catalog. As you can see, no matter if you decide to do something simple or more elaborate, your cards always will stand out. :)

For this card I also used a mask, and I simply sponged the petals a little bit. To complement it,  I added a sentiment, some gemstones and pearls over a a card base. Very pretty :) I want to point out that all the new Paper Layering Dies will be available on Feburary 8th at the Hero Arts Store , along with all the fabulous products included in the 2016 Catalog. Thanks for joining me,
