Video: No-Fuss Mixed Media Valentine's Day Card

Hello creatives and Happy 2024! This is Rachel Kleinman and I am here to share a no-mess mixed media Valentine's Day card with you all. In the video, you will see how we can combine Hero Arts mixed media products and dies to create a clean card full of LOVE for the Valentine's Day season.

(If you're having trouble viewing the video, click here  to watch it on YouTube)

This Valentine's Day card features the Decorative Accents Fancy Dies along with Hero Arts Gold Wax , Red + Shimmer Metallic Spray , and Fuchsia + Gold Metallic Spray .
I started by misting a Watercolor Paper panel with Red + Shimmer and Fuchsia + Gold Metallic Spray. Once dried, I die cut the leaf die and the fleur de lis looking die twice each. I also used my Hero Arts Palette Knife to evenly spread some Hero Gold Wax over a smaller Watercolor Paper panel. Once dried, I used the Compact Cutter to die cut the ampersand die from the Letters S-V Fancy Dies set.
The banner was cut from  Pitch Black cardstock, and the sentiment uses the 'LOVE' stamp from Message Basics , stamped with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder . I also used the heart stamp from the set to stamp and fussy cut on the dried Gold Wax panel to add some hearts to the Valentine themed card.
The main panel is die cut with Rounded Rectangle Infinity Dies from Dove White  cardstock. I added some subtle texture to the paper by running the panel through my die cut machine with the Lacy Floral Stencil . All pieces are added to the panel with Precision Glue and then added to an Ultra Pink card base. For some extra sparkle, I added a few drops of Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen .

I hope you've been inspired to try some of the Hero Arts mixed media products for your future Valentine's Day cards! Happy crafting!
