Video: Five Ways to Add Sparkle to Your Cards

Good morning! Jess here sharing five ways to add sparkle to your cards with a variety of fun products from Hero Arts!

You can watch the video below or over on our  YouTube channel . If you're having problems viewing the video please click  HERE .

To start I stamped the new  Rainbow HeroScape with Hero Arts inks in Cotton Candy , Soft Cantaloupe , Soft Vanilla , Soft Pool , and Soft Lilac . I decided to leave out the smallest layer but there is one more layer if you wanted a blue in your rainbow! Then I stamped over the orange layer with Embossing & Watermark ink and heat-embossed it with Sparkle Embossing Powder . I also stamped my sentiment from Rainbow HeroScape onto the red layer with Versafine and heat-embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder . Once I was done stamping I fussy cut the rainbow and die-cut clouds from the Cloudy Sky Scene Fancy Dies with Dove White cardstock and a white glitter cardstock that you'll be seeing really soon! ;)

Next I blended a sky onto a panel of Lapis cardstock with Cornflower , Indigo , and Navy ink using blending brushes . I trimmed it down to an A2 panel and die-cut a frame of Dove White cardstock using the Nesting Infinity Rectangle Dies . I adhered a panel of acetate behind the frame and added a border of foam mounting tape. I filled the shaker with Icicle sequin mix and then sealed it with my blended background.

I adhered the clouds to the acetate and then added a  Hello Message Fancy Die sentiment die-cut from silver glitter cardstock (that you'll also see soon! *wink wink*) with  Precision Glue for more sparkle. Finally I applied a little Sparkle Lacquer to the edges of the clouds and lightly sprinkled it with Snowfall Glitter .  You can see bits of glitter from the Sparkle Lacquer as well as the chunkier Snowfall Glitter and they reflect the light beautifully!

And that's it!  Don't forget about our current Stay Crafty with Hero challenge . The theme is RAINBOW and we can't wait to see your colorful creations! Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful week!
